Craft + Light is an arts and crafts studio located in Long Beach, CA. It opened last August 2019 with the purpose to inspire creativity through engaging crafts to kids and adults. Inspire creativity! Thru a variety of venues beyond most fine arts. Crafts are great option for students who may want to be creative but do not connect well with the modern arts of drawing, sketching, or painting.
Creative Experience For Adults: Virtual and in-person workshops are provided to groups of teams, families and best friends to engage in and have a thoughtful creative experience together. Enhancing camaraderie and deepening bonds of friendship through art forms.
Creative Experiences for Kids: The studio offers virtual craft workshops for students Tk-5th grades once a week. Virtual workshops are taught on Zoom. Student workshops are separated into two groups: TK-2nd grades on Tuesdays and 3rd-5th Grades Wednesdays. Students are taught a variety of crafts from multiple venues including: knitting, jewelry making, STEAM projects ( DIY Puffy Paint), marble painting, mosaics and more. Students receive the materials through craft kits prepared safely with all required elements to complete the craft successfully (some home elements may be required.) Craft kits may be picked up curbside at the studio, shipped or delivered.
Creative Experiences Kits: The studio offers craft kits without the Zoom workshop. These kits may be purchased separately and in bulk. Craft kits have written instructions to guide the student to complete the craft project successfully. A recorded demo is also available for access on You Tube to support further understanding.
