CRAIN

CRAIN is an engineering office specialized in wind propulsion for ships. Thanks to its strong background in aerodyamics and naval architecture, CRAIN can assess the potential benefit of wind propulsion for cargo ships. Tools developped by CRAIN can be used to model a ship fitted with wind propulsion with an adapted level complexity depending on the stage of the project. CRAIN has also its own R&D program aiming to reinforce the knowledge and influence of the various physical effets that influence the performance of wind propulsion. CRAIN proposes its expertise to assist owners who wish to assess the potential benefit of wind propulsion for their fleet taking into account operating constraints or wind technologies providers who wish to benefit of an expertise in aerodynamics.
