CraneX

CraneX is an automated construction technology that is 70% faster than traditional methods and requires 80% less manpower to build low-to-high-rise buildings. This groundbreaking British technology has been awarded global patents, notably in the US and China, and is set to disrupt the construction industry worldwide. CraneX has entered into production and proving ground by building the entire technology with manufacturers. How it works CraneX replaces the use of conventional cranes with robotic column-installation-lift actuators. All pre-manufactured components are assembled on the ground. The key innovation lies within dual-core columns that form the entire steel framework of the superstructure, as well as providing power and traction for the robotic lift actuators to ascend and descend, while simultaneously self-erecting on its own mass. The lift actuators are loaded with the dual-core columns from the ground and ascend to the top of the vertical built columnar structure to complete a column installation cycle. One cycle is completed every five minutes, adding 3m to the superstructure each time. In one hour, the building framework can rise by 60m. Entire horizontal floor platforms are assembled on the ground, including concrete cladding, partitions, MEP and façade. Each fully assembled floor platform is then hoisted by multiple pulleys located within the stability guide framework, to populate the entire superstructure from the ground to the top.
