Crane Cove Seafoods

Based in Eskasoni First Nation, Nova Scotia, Canada. Crane Cove Seafoods is a primary resource harvester of Snow Crab, Shrimp, and Haddock in the Atlantic Canadian waters off Nova Scotia. Crane Cove Seafoods mission is to ensure the sustainability of the species harvested and to maintain effective and efficient operations that are not only profitable, but that also create and sustain meaningful employment for community members of Eskasoni First Nation. Our main office is located in the First Nations Community of Eskasoni and our fishing ports are located in the following Nova Scotian communities and villages: - Arichat - Petit De Grat - Louisbourg - Canso - West Pubnico Crane Cove Seafoods employs between 140 and 150 full-time and part-time employees. Crane Cove Seafoods also manages and maintains its own fleet of 7 vessels ranging from sizes of 50 ft to 65 ft. The company also operates a Snow Crab repackaging plant located in the community of Eskasoni.
