Clinical Research Center is located at Children Cancer Hospital in Egypt-57357; the largest pediatric cancer referral hospital in Egypt and the Middle East. The hospital houses about 300 inpatient beds; with almost 3,000 new admissions/year for children with Cancer.
The CCHE-CRC is an integrated center for conducting Clinical Trials (CTs). It was established, in 2015, as a Clinical Trial Unit part of the Clinical Research Department at CCHE-57357, then got certified and registered as CRC at the Egyptian MOH in 05/2022.

Clinical Trials are conducted in the CCHE-CRC according to ICH-GCP guidelines after obtaining the approvals of our Institutional Review Board (CCHE-IRB), MOH, +/- the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA). CRC provides the investigators with a full range of resources and services they need to conduct their Clinical Studies, either directly or in coordination with the institutional resources and facilities at CCHE-57357 from the study initiation till the study closeout.
These duties are performed by highly qualified, well trained personals which are provided for all studies in one place. Also, the CCHE-CRC offers, statistical consultation and data management support.
Our center is available to help investigators with research activities and provide education and training to all members of the clinical research team according to GCP guidelines.
Research activities includes: investigator-initiated & industry-sponsored phase II, III & IV multicenter clinical trials.
Objectives:
Promote clinical and translational research and scientific innovation to improve patient care. Engaging in research provides a unique opportunity to have substantial impact on pediatric cancer in Egypt. We strive to advance, and change the standard of care and conduct multinational clinical trials that can help the validation of much needed new, more effective treatments for children with cancer.
