We are CREART - Centre for Creation, Art and Tradition of Bucharest Municipality, Romania. A special place in the institution’s activity is occupied by its programs, whose content and on-going concerns envisage the formative educational and research side. Main events organized by CREART: - iMapp Bucharest – Winners League: one of the biggest video mapping contests in the world - Bucharest Christmas Market: the Official Christmas Market of the city - The International Folkclore Festival ”Music and Traditions in Bucharest” - Creative Fest – the biggest urban arts and culture festival in Bucharest - Bucharest GreenSounds Festival – international music festival - HeyDay Music Festival – international tribute bands festival - La pas pe Calea Victoriei – event that gives back the street to pedestrians, by offering a wide range of cultural and artistic manifestations - CinePark – open air cinema - IEsc – Festival dedicated to the Universal Day of the Romanian Blouse (IE) ... The young audience joined us because of our cultural offer tailored to their expectations. Listed under "successes", we can mention: the artistic cafe – Teatrelli, an alternative interdisciplinary cultural space, dedicated to the performing arts. We converted our yard into a summer garden which is called Grădina cu Filme and where every film and live music lover are expected with arms wide open. Moreover, creart Gallery holds a unique position on the Romanian art scene as the most known gallery belonging to a public institution. We have travelled and attended cultural events organized by partner cultural centres and institutes of the main European capitals. We have invited artists and multimedia artists to exhibit their work in the public space, we have organized seminars, workshops for children, competitions... The cultural level reached by our actions and programs is inspirational to many, and it is always an aspiration for us to go beyond it. www.creart.ro
