Create-A-Sun

I’m a parent of two young kids, a former lawyer turned entrepreneur, and someone who has seen how important resilience is—not just for getting through hard times, but also to simply enjoy the peaceful times. As a parent, I don’t want to see my children, or any children, to grow up feeling overwhelmed by the world, constantly battling stress and self-doubt. I want to give them the tools to build emotional strength early, so they can face challenges with confidence and compassion. Create-A-Sun started as something small—a way to help my own kids—but it quickly grew into something bigger. I’ve drawn on the expertise of educators, child psychologists, and parents from around the world to shape this into a tool that is continuously involving and improving. This isn’t just about a digital app; it’s a holistic system to help kids develop a habit of seeing the bright side, of being grateful of everyday moments, of turning negatives into an empowering moment — so they grow into emotionally strong, well-adjusted teenagers and adults. The current teenage and adult depression and suicide rates are alarming. Some say kids will just grow up and grow out of their emotionally-charged phases, may be some do, but many don’t. As parents, as a society, let’s not wait until the the children are adults to help (or reprimand) them for not being the humans we had hoped them to be. The time to guide them is now—while they’re still kids—so they can grow into the resilient adults we hope they’ll become.
