Create Sheffield

Create Sheffield connects Sheffield’s education, cultural, arts and youth sectors as the city’s Local Cultural Education Partnership (LCEP). Create Sheffield believes every child or young person in Sheffield deserves the same access to creative expression, no matter their background. We are a partnership organisation and work closely with the cultural and creative sectors as well as with other sectors more focussed on children and young people such as schools or community youth providers. Our sole aim is to make access to creative expression, for children and young people, more equitable by building relationships and networks across the city. We enable people to connect and collaborate to improve access to the Expressive Arts for our young residents. We make space and time for creatives to connect with each other and reflect on their work with young people. Create Sheffield is supported by Learn Sheffield, Sheffield College, Sheffield Museums Trust, Sheffield Theatres and Sheffield City Council.
