We believe digital literacy is important for every child's future as we must acknowledge that this is the world students now live in, surrounded by digital technology. Computer science is transforming industries from healthcare to fashion, to agriculture and manufacturing, not to mention IOT (Internet Of Things). Realising that there is currently a world-wide movement to teach all kids how to code and a revival of Makerspaces, we're encouraging the need to return creativity by adding the idea of tinkering and exploration back to the learning process. That's why we at Creative Coding HK explore coding through robotics and use a 'Design First' approach to teach kids (6 and up) how to design, build, think logically (and of course, computationally), solve problems and work in a team - all through fun S.T.E.A.M. based computer programming and robotics courses.
