Creative Thinkers is a youth-led nonprofit initiative formed in July 2021 with a mission to empower Afghan children, youth, and women through education, capacity building, and climate action.
Starting with limited experience but strong determination, our volunteers first focused on school children by conducting Social Behavior Change (SBC) conferences in schools and UNICEF centers, reaching over 4,000 students. Over time, we expanded our impact through Motivational & Educational Programs (MEP), Polio Awareness campaigns in mosques, and Model United Nations (MUN) simulations in collaboration with ACTED Mazar.
Our female-led team has developed a comprehensive online education platform offering courses in English, Qur’an, Medicine, Psychology, Computer, and more. These programs provide books, videos, tests, and post-training certificates to empower female students across Afghanistan.
In August 2024, we successfully held a youth-led Climate Change COP28 simulation conference with ACTED, engaging boys and girls to debate, write resolutions, and take action.
Our climate initiatives include tree planting, clean-up campaigns, farmer training, awareness sessions, and shifting communities toward solar energy and sustainable living. We aim to inspire and train the next generation of Afghan changemakers.
