Creative Africa Nexus - CANEX

CANEX@IATF, the creative economy segment of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF), is organised by Afreximbank to promote Africa’s Creative and Cultural Industries (CCIs). It serves as a platform to connect, collaborate, and strengthen an interconnected African economy. Africa’s CCIs are powerful drivers of economic growth, job creation, and cultural engagement, generating income through trade and intellectual property. Despite rapid global expansion, CCIs in Africa face challenges like limited funding, knowledge gaps, and unstructured markets. Recognising this, Afreximbank established the Creative Africa Nexus (CANEX) to provide access to financing, capacity building, trade and export promotion, digital solutions, and policy advocacy - empowering Africa’s creative industries to scale and thrive on the global stage.
