A FREE multi-purpose studio for young creatives 🚀
Creators House is a not-for-profit youth empowerment organisation, we aim to help and support young creatives from underserved and underrepresented backgrounds, especially targeting young creatives from ethnic backgrounds, who are disproportionately more likely to be discriminated against and have more barriers to opportunities within the creative industry.
We chose to support young creatives specifically because we know the creative industry is growing twice as fast as the rest. Yet facilities are expensive. Equipment is expensive. Communities are hard to build. And knowledge and mentoring is hard to access. So there are lots of barriers that are stopping or slowing a lot of young creatives, especially those from less privileged backgrounds.
So we have created a space to help tackle these issues. We have opened a multipurpose creative studio in Kentish Town, North West London for young creatives to use for FREE. At this space young people can do podcasting, photography, videography, music production, graphic design and more. We also offer free workshops, free mentoring programs, and the service we are most proud about is we offer free therapy to 18-25 year olds.
