Creator Stock X augurs a new way of monetizing networks and consumer data. Our stock market for creators runs on CSX credit. It levers data to 10-100X value and gives it squarely to consumers. CSX is a stock market & social network fusion (sans media, which we leave to TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube to keep doing) that changes the basic contract between consumers and tech platforms. Today, 5B people bring data and attention online but don’t get financial terms. Users engage in “zero-dollar” follows and subscriptions that bypass any monetary flow for their time and attention. We fix that by assigning value to the currently unpriced relationships between creators, their audiences, and platforms. CSX issues an in-game currency—CSX credits—to every verified user weekly based on the follow and investment graph, translating influence and engagement into a tradable metric. A platform-funded 100 credits per user are given out every Monday to accounts users follow. If you follow 50 accounts, each account will get 2 credits from you. Each user’s “income” from their followers is divided across 10,000,000 shares. The user permanently holds 5,000,001 of these shares. The remaining 4,999,999 shares are available for others to buy or sell on the market. Distributions occur automatically on Mondays. It’s free to play and scales to larger-than-Bitcoin.
