Credence Capital, IIM Lucknow

Credence Capital is an investment oriented club that aims to further IIM Lucknow community’s knowledge in financial markets, asset markets and personal finance through investment analysis. Founded in 2005, Credence Capital has been advising the largest and oldest student-run investment fund, which has consistently outperformed the benchmark indices over the last decade. The fund provides an opportunity for IIM Lucknow students to gain hands-on experience in investment management that enhances lessons learned in both classes and at work. The investment approach includes a combination of multiple trading strategies such as value investing, bottom fishing, arbitrage opportunities, mathematical models, technical and fundamental analysis. These strategies keep changing with every new batch. The activities of Credence Capital include advising on investments, carrying out industry analysis, publishing newsletters, conducting knowledge sharing sessions, and providing stock valuations and recommendations.
