CREDU is a verified credentialing, audit and marketplace platform for accountants’ continuous professional education (CPE) and development (CPE). It is being developed to solve inefficiencies in tracking, verifying and monetising CPE/CPD for accountants and addressing their challenges in meeting professional requirements, by merging on-chain verifiable credentials and traditional record keeping. CREDU aims to elevate public perceptions of the value of accountants. The app will always be free for accountants to track their CPE / CPD records and publicly promote their expertise, and it provides an unbeatably efficient and low cost solution for their professional bodies to audit CPE / CPD compliance at scale. We are simplifying the task of CPE/CPD record keeping for accountants, at no cost to them, with verifiable and descriptive records on a transparent and easily auditable platform. CREDU will facilitate better collaboration across its user groups - accountants, their CPE training providers, their professional bodies and the general public - to unlock new revenue streams in a peer-to-peer knowledge economy. CREDU is a social innovation project under the auspice of DIGITAL PLAYHOUSE FOUNDATION LTD, a purpose built Australian charity and Public Benevolent Institution, advancing public welfare through adaptation of existing skills to emerging technologies. The CREDU platform is being developed as a public good and is led by Digital Playhouse Foundation cofounder and CFO, Electra Frost, a Chartered Tax Adviser and Accountant. Electra is a business technologist, researching Web3 applications to solve problems and create value for SMEs and their professional advisers.
