The majority of American women are blessed with small waists and full hips. If you’re among that majority, then you know how hard it can be to find clothes that fit. You’ve probably grown accustomed to taking everything in at the waist. And in the dressing room, you’re susceptible to looking in that mirror—a pile of ill-fitting pants underfoot—and concluding that you just aren’t shaped for high fashion. Crescendo launched in 2009 to change that—with a debut collection of pants and skirts designed to fit and flatter women with small waists and full hips. And Spring/Summer 2010 is on the way. In addition to our great-fitting pants and skirts, we’ve added tops and dresses this season, including a maxi dress that’s both glamorous and comfortable (together at last) and The Brio, our feminine take on menswear. (This dress has earned its stripes.) We’ve chosen fabrics with a graceful drape and rich hand, including linens, bamboo jerseys and fresh, airy cottons. And they’re drenched in the vibrant colors of tropical climates--plums, pinks, teals and cobalt blues.
