CrisisLink (www.crisislink.org) is a progressive nonprofit organization devoted to preventing tragedies and providing immediate support and resources for life crises, distress, and suicide to the Greater Washington, DC area. Since its’ founding in 1969, CrisisLink has grown, enhanced its mission and services, trained thousands of people, saved hundreds of lives and has evolved into a successful, award winning, fiscally strong organization The core of CrisisLink today is the Crisis Hotline where incoming calls are managed by hundreds of highly trained volunteers 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
