Crisp Farms

Crisp Farms is an innovative farm in Central Texas working to provide Texans with an abundance of local, organic produce year round. Our primary mechanism of achieving this lofty goal is through a sustainable farming technology called aquaponics. Aquaponics is the closed-loop, recirculating combination of aquaculture (the raising of fish in tanks) and hydroponics (the soilless cultivation of plants). By using aquaponic technology we are able to produce a higher output of certified organic produce while using less water and land than conventional farming. We harvest a variety of lettuces, leafy greens, and herbs as well as tilapia of unrivaled quality. Our unique operation allows us to share our passion for sustainable agriculture and community health. Crisp Farms produce will be available in grocery retailers in Austin, San Antonio, and DFW in early 2018 with plans of expanding to major metros statewide.
