Family - Programs & Activities
Over 2,100 families participate in our programs that encourage time together during swimming, health & fitness and fun activities. Monthly family nights, parent's night out, and child watch.
Youth & Teen - Programs & Activities
Parents and community leaders look to the Cross Island YMCA to provide an environment, which enables children to experience and learn values such as respect, caring and honesty - values that the YMCA incorporates into all programs.
Pre-school: Half day and full day programs with extended hours serving children ages 2 - 5 years old. The Y’s Early Childhood Center serves over 3,000 youth annually and houses a Free Universal Pre-Kindergarten.
After School Programs: Well supervised, developmentally appropriate program is open to K through 6th graders, including holiday camp program during school recess weeks.
Aquatics: Pre-school classes, youth classes, parent- child classes, gym/swim, youth swim team cater to over 1,700 in one 8 week session.
Teen Programs: We provide all teens in the community (member or non) with FREE programs. Every Friday and Saturday from 6:30– 8:00pm. Teen Center is where teens can participate in a variety of recreational and social activities including music lessons, swim lessons, teen tutoring and more.
Adult Programs & Activities
There are more than 65 different classes and program offered each year including Health & Fitness, arts, dance and development classes serving over 16,500 adults annually.
