Crowd Funded Cures is a project of the registered tax-exempt NZ charity, the Medical Prize Charitable Trust, which also established Public Good Pharma (https://publicgoodpharma.com/) as a social enterprise to fund clinical trials for therapies which lack commercial incentives under the current patent system (eg repurposing off-patent drugs & nutraceuticals, psychedelics & plant medicines, diets and lifestyle interventions).
By crowdfunding a Medical Prize / Medical Impact DAO through the issue of Medical Impact NFTs, Crowd Funded Cures can create an Impact Market for public good medicines, without reliance on patents (see pinned video below)
