Bangladesh Health Professions Institute (BHPI) was
established in 1992 with the aim of developing highly
skilled multidisciplinary health care professionals. BHPI is
the academic institute of Centre for the Rehabilitation of the
Paralysed (CRP). BHPI runs different courses at M.Sc,
B.Sc, Diploma and certificate levels. Students of BHPI have
a good external exposure while on clinical placements
in Dhaka Medical College and Hospital, National
Institute of Diseases of Chest and Hospitals (NIDCH),
National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedic
Rehabilitation (NITOR). CRP is the renowned placement
venue for other national and international Physiotherapy
teaching institute.
