Croatian Register of Shipping (Inland Navigation Division), as an independent, non-profit company aspiring to the common good, founded in 1949, has for more than 75 years been providing the highest level of professional service in classification and statutory certification of inland navigation vessels.
Croatian Register of Shipping is a recognised classification society for inland waterways vessels according to Directive (EU) 2016/1629. Among other things, Inland Navigation Division of the Croatian Register of Shipping (CRS Inland) acts as a competent authority and inspection body under Directive (EU) 2016/1629 and is authorised to carry out inspections of all types of vessels under EU flags falling within the scope of the Directive and the European Standard laying down Technical Requirements for Inland Navigation vessels (ES-TRIN).
The Croatian Register of Shipping is a recommended classification society within the framework of the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Inland Waterways (ADN).
