CRSP dsgn is a social enterprise that was founded in 2016, with the aim of designing and developing technological innovations to create social impact in South Africa, and the rest of the developing world. In 2017, the organization began work on its first project which involved commercializing the LCERT (Low-Cost Educational Robotics Toy) kit for South African schools. Over the years, CRSP dsgn has won numerous local and international awards including the First Prize at the 2016 SAB Foundation Social Innovation Awards (South Africa), as well as the Third Prize at the 2019 EdTech X Global Startup Super League (London, UK), just to name a few. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, CRSP dsgn established its non-profit Foundation to foster continued 21st Century Education research and advocacy within the South African education system, while focusing its core business on technology development. With its sights set on the approaching introduction of Coding & Robotics education into South Africa’s public schooling system, the CRSP dsgn Foundation would like to welcome young, multi-talented and ambitious innovators to join its new team to assist in driving the narrative of 21st Century Education in South Africa.
