Tunisian Red Crescent - Local Committee of Ras Djebel

Founded in 2012, the Local Committee of the Tunisian Red Crescent in Ras Jebel is dedicated to supporting the community through humanitarian efforts. With a team of committed volunteers, we operate in several key areas within our 6 programs: • Health Program: Medical caravans providing free specialized consultations, health awareness campaigns, and vaccinations. • First Aid Program: Coverage of first aid during festivals, competitions, and sports events, training and initiation in first aid for individuals, institutions, and businesses. • Social Work Program: assistance for vulnerable families, especially during Eid, Ramadan, and the start of school. • Disaster Management Program: Reforestation initiatives, Environmental protection initiatives, intervention during natural disasters (fires, floods), ongoing crisis management training. • Promotion of IHL and Fundamental Principles Program: Promotion of values and fundamental principles, sharing information about our actions, and IHL introductions. • Youth Program: Personal development and recreational activities to train competent and committed volunteers. Partnerships and Collaborations: We work with public partners (municipalities, delegations, hospitals, schools, youth and children’s centers) and organizations that share our values and principles (Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntarism, Unity, Universality).
