Crystics Diagnostics

Crystics LLC (Crystalline Diagnostics) is focused on the invention of portable, fast, inexpensive, and accurate detectors. The Crystics team has played key roles in the emergence of a number of successful manufacturing startups. This success has led to the creation of a center, the Ohio Platform for Tomorrow’s Industrial, Medical Instruments and Equipment (OPTIMISE) funded by the Ohio Third Frontier, out of which Crystics has emerged. The technologies behind the inventions include magneto-optical and magnetic-particle physics. Some of our achievements include: * Detection of diseases using magnetic-particle physics: We are detecting diseases such as COVID-19 and cancer. Previous applications of the magneto-optical technology include a successful development of a malaria detector setting a precedent of low cost, accuracy, portability and speed. * Detection of industrial fluid contaminants: Detection of magnetic material to address the needs of predictive technology companies in managing machine failure.
