Founded in 1974 by Han Sui Cheng, Capitol Steel is a prominent Philippine manufacturer of reinforcing steel bars. Over five decades, we've contributed to significant projects like the Magat Dam in the 1970s and the Citibank Tower in the 1980s. In the 1990s, during the traffic crisis, we supported fast-track projects like the EDSA-Ortigas Interchange.
Our commitment to innovation led to collaborations with international partners, such as Belgium's Centre de Recherches Métallurgiques, resulting in the development of ASTM A706 Grade 75. This higher-grade steel has been successfully applied in our own high-rise projects.
