Community Self-Driven Projects (CSDP) Uganda, founded in 2014 by young, energetic development practitioners, aims to address poverty, diseases, violence against women and children, male engagement, youth livelihoods, environmental challenges, support for vulnerable children, education, and community backwardness.
Focused on uplifting living standards in Busoga, particularly in Mayuge, Namutumba, Bugweri, Iganga, and Luuka districts, CSDP is registered with the Busoga District NGO Monitoring Committee.
Our main focus areas include:
Education: We enhance education systems for all levels, improving infrastructure, services, assessments, fostering interaction, providing guidance, and engaging stakeholders.
Health & Nutrition: We aid households in health awareness (Malaria, HIV, Malnutrition), offer youth programs, child protection, gender management, and promote livelihoods & food security.
Gender Equity & Social Inclusion Strategies: CSDP implements gender-inclusive activities, engages men, women, and community groups. Women hold leadership roles across boards, committees, and staff.
