Established in 1983-84, the Department of Computer science and Engineering is one of the pioneering institutes of KLU that began its journey with an intake of 30 students+. With a current intake of nearly 2000 Undergraduate students, 50+ post graduate students and Doctoral program (Ph.D.) in all the major areas of computer science and Engineering, the department is flourishing with industrial collaborations and academic excellence. Industry co-branded & internationally bench-marked curriculum, student-centric teaching pedagogies, innovative evaluation mechanisms, tool based learning for industry-ready skills, tech clubs and business incubators to energize students and make learning a part of their everyday life make the department one of the favourites not just with-in the University across the country.
