Spring 2004 a core group of women, Cheryl Nelson Butler, Rhonda Arnold, Asheligh Rosette,
Dana Hollie and Keryl Morgan met and discussed the possibility of organizing a group of women to apply
for chapter affiliation with Continental Societies, Inc. By mid-summer, an interest group was fully
organized and performing service projects. On October 4, 2004, the Houston Metropolitan Chapter was
chartered and set forth to execute the mission of the organization in the greater Houston area. Since it’s
chartering, the chapter has made great strides in serving children.
