CSIpix Matcher automatically compares a latent to a known fingerprint, tenprint, or palmprint. If there is a potential match, the Matcher finds it and highlights it. It is ideal for searching a latent print against a palm - users say it can save hours on a palm comparison. Many labs are using the Matcher for quality control; before an exclusion or inconclusive decision, a Matcher search helps ensure that a potential match was not overlooked.
CSIpix Case AFIS is a flexible AFIS that searches a latent against a limited number of known prints and highlights potential matches. The Case AFIS is easily installed on a laptop or desktop PC for searches at a case level. This flexibility allows labs to equip each examiner with a Case AFIS on their individual computers.
