CSIS Strategic Technologies Program

For 50 years, the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) has developed practical solutions to the world’s greatest challenges. Today’s global landscape presents strategic opportunities that will define our future. As we celebrate this milestone, CSIS scholars are developing strategic insights and bipartisan policy solutions to help decision makers chart a course toward a better world. The CSIS Strategic Technologies Program's research agenda includes cybersecurity, emerging technologies and innovation, frameworks for digital governance, 5G networks and telecommunications, surveillance and privacy, and the role of technology in power and conflict. STP brings together technologists, policymakers, civil society, and business leaders from around the world. In a time when disruptive technologies are reshaping the global economy and society, the program provides pragmatic and data-driven analysis and policy recommendations to face these challenges.
