Founded in 1994 by the Chiefs of the Assembly of First Nations Quebec-Labrador (AFNQL), the First Nations of Quebec and Labrador Health and Social Services Commission (FNQLHSSC) is a non-profit organization fostering the defense of First Nations interests in Quebec. As a technical advisor and consultant, the FNQLHSSC fulfills mandates and provides services to improve the health and wellness of First Nations people in Quebec.
Vision: First Nations individuals, families and communities are healthy, have equitable access to quality care and services, and are self-determining and culturally empowered.
Mission: To accompany Quebec First Nations in achieving their health, wellness, culture and self-determination goals.
