Here at the CSU Institute for Palliative Care at CSUSM, we strive to educate San Diego County current healthcare professionals, future healthcare professionals, and the community about Palliative Care. Our goal is to create a model of “humanized” healthcare such that SD healthcare professionals and San Diego residents will understand palliative care options, ask for palliative care when appropriate, and for those over 18, have legal Advance Directives in place.
