Cinema Technology Community (CTC)

Cinema Technology Community CIC (CTC), is an independent, not-for-profit membership organisation that aims to advance the use of technology to enhance all aspects of the movie-going experience. With over 1,000 members in more than 85 countries, our members represent all facets of the film industry; from film distributors to cinema exhibitors, integrators, manufacturers, journalists and thought leaders. Our membership community is united by a shared passion for technology and the cinematic experience. CTC provides various global initiatives aimed at educating and up-skilling our members in current and emerging cinema technologies. Such initiatives include hosting training courses and supporting professional certification, providing technical and educational resources such as handbooks, webinars and seminars, video content, podcasts and networking events. CTC is also the owner and publisher of Cinema Technology Magazine to motion picture industry's leading publication focussed on cinema technology and business-related topics. Membership is open to individuals and organisations and starts from £10 a year. As a not-for-profit, community organisation, all money raised from membership and sponsorship is directed into events and materials aimed at improving the industry.
