Mr. Jayantibhai Jariwala Chairman and Managing Director of Colourtex Group of companies founded the parent company in the late sixties. Colourtex has since grown strongly over the last four decades into a leading dyestuff producer having a fully integrated state-of-the-art plant with annual installed capacity of 57000 MTA dyes 68000 MTA dye-intermediates and 8000 MTA Speciality Chemicals. Colourtex has emerged globally as a leading Indian dyestuff company with an annual sale exceeding $250 million in 2009-2010. In the past decade major investments have been done into building environment and resource infrastructure including 7MW power generation 60000 m3 surface water reservoir with water treatment plant liquid and solid disposal facility along with incinerators.
