Cuantitativa is an algorithmic trading technology company. The company was created to meet two essential needs for our proprietary trading: • To expand the research and development of algorithmic trading models through several asset classes, including equity index futures, interest rate futures, and cryptocurrency markets. • To develop the necessary technological architectures for the correct implementation of these models in the markets. Likewise, Cuantitativa focuses on the creation of technological tools that facilitate the execution of the business processes of a company based on algorithmic trading. These tools provide solutions in different business areas, including strategy design and evaluation, position sizing techniques implementation, and strategy portfolio composition and monitoring. We believe two key factors contribute to better risk-adjusted returns: • The implementation of properly diversified portfolios of strategies. • The application of money management techniques that maximize portfolio returns while maintaining optimal levels of risk. The strategies that compose our portfolios are designed following specific procedures in which risk control has special attention. The strategies are developed following quantitative approaches that may include, among other techniques, the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning to generate alpha.
