Cubby was a mutual aid fundraiser aimed at supporting BIPoC individuals seeking short-term financial assistance. We created custom illustrations in exchange for donations, which were pooled and subsequently redistributed through various means: grants, one-time sums for tuition or housing, and organizational support. Cubby’s model was driven by our belief in the power and importance of redistributing wealth through mutual aid and reparations.
