Cube

Cube Tutors is a mobile app that instantly connects students with peer tutors at their same university. Cube has been part of Futury’s Founders Academy Accelerator program “Plattform Lebenswelten” designed to diversify Allianz’ portfolio to include new digital services in spheres other than insurances. Cube is a mobile app that pairs users with in-person tutors within minutes of the initial request. With Cube, students can search by courses unique to their particular institution to view and message tutors qualified in those specific classes. As for tutors, Cube not only provides a vast network of clients, but they are also given the flexibility of setting their own hourly rates and availability. All payments are processed within the application, making it simple for both the tutors and students. A beta version of Cube was released at selected universities in Winter 2017.
