Cultivating Currents is a nonprofit organization empowering youth to explore the vital connections between agriculture, freshwater ecosystems, and ocean health. Through hands-on programs like Street Science and our flagship project, the Living Lab Loop, we connect students—especially those often left out of science—with place-based environmental education and real-world research. Whether we're dockside at a Gulf estuary or setting up a science kit on a city sidewalk, our mission is clear: to equip the next generation of environmental stewards with knowledge, voice, and purpose. 🌊 We’re building bold, inclusive, science-forward learning spaces. 🧪 We’re empowering youth as researchers, storytellers, and changemakers. 🌍 And we’re forging powerful partnerships to connect land to water, science to story, and youth to the future they deserve.
