Culture Post-Mortem

Culture Post-Mortem is a freelance conservation business developping skills and expertise in the fields of organic materials and human remains conservation, specifically looking at archaeological, natural, anatomical and "ethnographic" collections. More specifically, Culture Post-Mortem is able to work in : Archaeology : On-site consolidation and block-lift for all materials. Laboratory interventions for organic materials (animal and vegetal), ceramics and glass. Natural History and Anatomy : dry and osteological preparations, fluid preserved specimen. Ethnography : animal fibers (feathers, horn, ivory, bone etc.) and vegetal fibers. Appart from conservation, Culture Post-Mortem wishes to participate in the valorisation of cultural heritage, and is currently working towards developping skills and knowledge in public outreach.
