Culverture has created a prefabricated structural system which consists of integrated wall and floor construction elements. This system works as an alternative to the labour-intensive in-situ construction methodologies predominant in South Africa.
The prefabricated concrete system creates adaptable, economical and modular spaces. The off-site manufactured structural components are sized with truck-portability in mind and once on site the units are stacked and held together with cast in connections. Through Culverture’s system we aim to use prefabricated construction in an effort to reduce cost and build at a production rate that will be able to match the demand.
