CureARS is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2021. This organization was created by two families with the goal of saving their kid's lives. Daphne Magee (EARS2 gene mutation) and Aubrie Rowland (AARS2 gene mutation) are both young girls affected by the mitochondrial ARS gene family. Currently, there is no approved treatment and no cure for these conditions.

Desiree Magee (Daphne’s Mom) and Ashley Rowland (Aubrie’s Mom) founded this organization to address these barriers with the ultimate goal of finding a cure for their children and others affected by this debilitating disease.
