Curious Bee Therapy

Hello! My name is Vicky and 'Curious Bee Therapy' is my new business. Let me introduce myself - I'm a Hull girl born and bred, I've moved away on a few occasions but as a home bird, I always return to this friendly place. I am a lover of animals (you'll often find me trying to lint roll the dog hair) and the outdoors but equally happy with a hot chocolate and a good Netflix series! As part of my training, it is a requirement to be in personal therapy myself. So, I do understand what it is like to be a client and how important it is to get the right therapist for you. Opening up about your struggles can be scary as hell! If this is your 1st or fifty first time considering therapy, please know with the right therapist there is no issue too big or too small that can't be worked through. I am currently in my 3rd year of training at the Ellesmere Centre in Hull, working towards my Psycho Therapeutic Counsellor qualification with the intention to carry on and become a Psychotherapist next year. My placement for the last year, offering counselling services through Valued Minds has been a rich learning experience and a pleasure! As a trainee, I will be offering therapy at a reduced rate whilst my training continues and my work is supported by an experienced supervisor who I see regularly for help and guidance. I am able to offer therapy in person at Holderness Road or Beverley Road currently, or of course online is another option for anyone further afield.
