La Coalition pour une utilisation responsable du plastique (CURP) est composée de chefs de file de l'industrie de tout le Canada. Nos membres partagent la conviction que les Canadiens méritent une approche politique responsable et efficace pour s'attaquer au problème des déchets plastiques dans l'environnement. Le gouvernement fédéral a désigné les articles manufacturés en plastique comme substance toxique de l'annexe 1 de la Loi canadienne sur la protection de l'environnement (LCPE). Non seulement cette étiquette est scientifiquement inexacte, mais elle pourrait avoir des conséquences imprévues et de grande portée.
