Current Hydro

Focused on developing hydro, it is our passion to design facilities that contribute to the fight against climate change, enable people to use clean renewable energy and exceed traditional investors’ needs. We only develop infrastructure that meets the highest environmental standards in such a way as to enhance fish migration, ensure wetland health, and mitigate downstream and upstream storm event damage. Hydropower facilities won't be financially sustainable if they don't work in harmony with the riverine environment. Current Hydro works with top fish and wildlife scientists to discover how to best protect species of interest at each site. We work collaboratively with clients that span the private, public, and municipal sectors to address the sustainability of local waterways and to generate positive hydroelectric experience for communities.
