Hey! We are the Curry Smugglers, we just launched our range of Desi savoury snacks. All our snacks are made the traditional way and to our mum's recipe. Handmade in small batches and packed full of flavour, the proof is in every can! Our snacks are packed in beer cans (we love craft beer) which we found provides an air-tight and UV-free environment to keep your favourite Desi snacks fresher for longer… we also found in beer cans the snacks don’t get crushed up as they do in plastic bags. Despite the packaging changing, the snacks themselves haven’t changed, still your favourite desi snack just in a cooler packaging! To be enjoyed with a pint of West Coast IPA (my favourite) or with a cuppa Chai. Our name pays homage to our fun-packed holidays in India and being inspired by the diverse culinary traditions across the country, sharing our experiences the explosion of herbs and spices, transporting your taste buds to the buzzing aromatic spice bazaars of Mumbai.
