THE CUSTAROON STORY
In 1999, Gigi Gaerlan serendipitously invented a uniquely delicious and deliciously unique dessert. For six months, she worked to perfect her recipe, the result being the mouth-watering Custaroon. This irresistible dessert is hand made and baked fresh daily using only the most premium ingredients in the market. Having perfected her recipe, Gigi then turned her attention to the overall look and packaging of the product. Gigi saw to it that the eye-catching design would live up to her delectable dessert.
In 2010, the first Custaroonery opened its doors at the St. Pio Chapel Compound, Libis, Quezon City, Philippines. In January of 2014, Gigi opened her first mall kiosk at the SM Mega Fashion Hall. Because of the great reception she and her desserts received, Gigi went on to open other branches in various malls. As of August 2014, there are five branches open, with even more on the way to spread the joy of Custaroons to everyone!
