Custom Extracts ™ was founded in 2017 in Ballarat, Victoria, by Max Crawford. Max has degrees in process engineering and commerce and has 20 years of manufacturing experience.
Custom Extracts ™ manufactures flavours and functional extracts using state of the art equipment and the best local and internationally sourced ingredients.
Custom Extracts ™ products are used primarily in the beverage industry.
State-of-the-art extraction equipment was imported in late 2017. Extensive product development and testing was conducted throughout 2018 and 2019. Five products were commercialised in 2020 and a further five in the first half of 2021.
This research and development effort helps Custom Extracts ™ make amazingly true to type flavours. The bitter orange leaves a tingle on your lips like you’ve just eaten a fresh orange. The lemon myrtle is lifted and fragrant. The juniper has a freshness that other extraction technologies just can’t match.
We can also make great functional extracts that maintain the unique qualities of the raw material. Panax Ginseng, Schisandra berry and Echinacea extracts have been very well received.
