CUT Innovation Services ( CUTIS )

Mission: To achieve our commercial mandate, we will offer Continuing Education (CE) and Short Learning Programmes (SLPs), undertake Special Projects, Contract Research, Consulting, and rent out facilities. Our objective to enhance the innovation ecosystem will be accomplished by improving the entrepreneurship and innovation environment at CUT, as well as promoting solution-oriented research and development. Our focus areas are Agriculture, Food, and Hospitality; ICT and Smart Industries; Advanced and Additive Manufacturing; and Circular Economy. Vision: CUTis is committed to being an engaged entity that serves as a catalyst for the commercialization of innovative projects and products for the public good. Our primary focus is on the central region of South Africa, where we aim to contribute to the financial sustainability of the Central University of Technology.
