CutBox

Founded in 2022, CutBox is a B2B commerce service designed to meet the specific needs of small retailers, also known as Mom ‘n’ Pop stores, in urban environments. In India, the majority of the retail market in grocery and pharmacy is made up of these smaller retailers. However, due to their limited purchasing power, they often have to settle for a limited inventory selection, incur wastage losses, face cash-flow problems, and experience lower net margins/income compared to larger retail chains and outlets. We recognise that the current distribution networks in India, which prioritise large purchases to avail cheaper rates and have long waiting times for order fulfilment, are a major obstacle to these small retailers. CutBox aims to address these challenges and level the playing field for small retailers by tackling the shortcomings of the legacy supply chain.
